Columbus Events In July

Looking for events to do in July? This list has the best Columbus has to offer! 

1) Red, White, and Boom! 
Columbus loves the 4th of July!  This year, RWB will take place on July 3rd! Celebrate it with the biggest fireworks show in Ohio.  Attended by over 400,000 people, this event began in 1981 and has since become one most recognized fireworks display in the Midwest.  Click this link to see a map so you can find the best place to watch! 

2) Doo Dah Parade
The Doo Dah Parade in Columbus, Ohio, is a celebration of "life, liberty and the pursuit of literary lunacy."  The parade will take place at 1pm, followed by a block party complete with a line-up of great rock bands! The Doo Dah Parade will take place on July 4th. 

3) Jazz & Rib Fest
Taking place July 21st through 23rd on the Scioto Mile, the Jazz and Rib Fest is a great way to spend your weekend!  The festival features live stages featuring local and international musicians.  If you get hungry, just stop by one of the 23 award-winning barbecue teams.  To learn more about the Fest click here

4) Lifehouse and Switchfoot
Lifehouse and Switchfoot will be preforming the Looking for Summer tour at Express Live!  Taking place July 26th, this outdoor concert is taking place at one of the best music venues Columbus has to offer.  If these artists aren't your style, take a look at the event calender to see what other artists are coming to town!

5) Ohio State Fair
The 164th Ohio State Fair will be taking place July 26th through August 6th! With a variety of activities and no shortage of fair food, the Ohio State Fair is a great event to attend with your friends and family! This year, the Ohio State Fair's official ice cream flavor is Cereal and Milk.  Other activities that you can do at the fair include a fine arts show, live entertainment, a free petting zoo, and horse shows!
