Besides having the best décor and coolest looking stage of any local venues, Spacebar also boasts an incredible monthly lineup of touring acts and the best local bands in town. Every local musician should want to play here and every music fan should enjoy a show here.
Ruby’s has a little bit of something for everyone, opening their stage up to rock, metal, jam bands, DJ’s and almost anything that will fit on the stage. They also host an open mic night for any aspiring musicians out there.
Rambling House Soda
This old-time, American-themed joint is unique to the campus scene, specializing in singer-songwriters and vintage instrumentation. Stop in and be transported back in time with turn of the century style homemade sodas to complete the flashback experience.
Skully’s Music Diner
While mostly known for its dance parties and hip hop, and EDM shows, Skully’s also occasionally plays host to the occasional rock show as well. Home to one of the best sounds systems in the city and the mirrored walls will definitely make for interesting night out.

The venue with the best proximity to campus, Newport is the longest continually operating venue of its size in the nation. Everyone on their way up the industry ladder plays at the Newport meaning you should put it on your bucket list to attend at least one show before you graduate.

COSI provides an exciting and informative atmosphere for those of all ages to discover more about our environment, our accomplishments, our heritage, and ourselves.
